The Opportunity:
CACI is currently seeking an experienced software engineer with a background working with embedded processors and operating systems to join our Mastodon Design team in Rochester, NY!

We specialize in designing and building hardware and software to meet our customers’ requirements. We focus on offering devices that can be fielded immediately to meet the mission needs that lie directly ahead. Size, weight, power, and packaging are of paramount importance in everything we design and build. Our expertise allows us to rapidly provide these solutions in specialized electronic/mechanical design, embedded &application-level software, reverse engineering & protocol analysis, and RF signals exploitation and communications systems.

Responsibilities:

Maintain and optimize Linux build servers to ensure stability and performanceDesign, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using JenkinsAutomate build, test, and deployment processes to streamline development workflowsWrite and maintain shell scripts to automate routine tasks and enhance efficiencyMonitor build and deployment processes for issues and bottlenecks, and troubleshoot as neededCollaborate with development team to identify and implement process improvementsDocument configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and continuityEnsure build environments adhere to security best practices and compliance standards


Qualifications:
Required: 

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field3-5 years of experience in DevOps or a similar roleStrong experience with LinuxProficiency in shell scripting (Bash, Python)Proven experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipelinesExperience with version control systems (Git)Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and collaboration skills


Desired:

Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)Certification in DevOps tools (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes)Experience with GitLab Pipelines

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$69,100-$141,500
