What you can expect

Design and build our data pipeline architecture as well as optimize data flow for collection, ingestion, process and exchange for cross functional teamsCollaborate with technical team members to ensure the solution design satisfies project objectives and business requirementsDevelop test plans, implementation plans, and project timelines for various data engineering projectsParticipate in on-call supportSupport with data governance and security policies to ensure data integrity and confidentialityParticipate in evaluation and selection of new data tools and technologies to enhance our data capabilitiesAbility to build and support programs across cloud and on-prem infrastructurePerform operational tasks that facilitate and advances our infrastructure needsOptimizing and implementing cost measures to ensure sustainability of our data servicesDesign, build and implement ETL scripts and pipelinesWork with engineering, IT and other teams to understand and prioritize deployment of data analytic servicesConfigure cloud based solutions (AWS, Azure)  and enable end user self serviceDevelop and maintain scripts and tools to make automation process run smootherOptimize enterprise data, analytic tools and applicationsBuild and roll out dashboards for multiple teamsDetermine, enforce and document databases policies, procedures, standards and governance

What you'll bring

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field of studyExperience with Python, Pyspark4+ years of experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP or AzureExperience in business analytic and business intelligence toolsExperience in building high scale data pipelines in hybrid environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExperience in data security and data governanceExperience with big data tech like Spark, Kafka, Apache airflowStrong understanding of database systems including RDS, postgresSQLExperience with CICD ecosystemsMicro-service architecture experienceProgramming languages – Python, Bash, SQLExperience with container services - Docker, Kubernetes, service meshes etc.Experience with Git, Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform, CDK, Jira, ConfluenceExposure to Graphana, Prometheus
