DevOps Engineer II to support two closely related functions:(1) modernizing software development infrastructure and workflows, and(2) configuring and maintaining Windows-based operating system images that ship with our test systems.This role will report to software engineering while working closely with corporate IT to improve build, release, and deployment processes while ensuring production systems are securely configured and reproducible.Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevOps & Software InfrastructureSupport migration of existing source control repositories to GitHub Enterprise (hosted in Azure).Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multi-language codebases (C#, C/C++, Python, and web applications).Automate build, test, and release processes using scripting and CI tools.Integrate static code analysis, security scanning, and automated review tools into development workflows.Support Jira-based development workflows and issue tracking.Develop scripts or small internal tools to improve engineering efficiency.System Image & OS Configuration of Test SystemsBuild and maintain Windows 10/11 system images used in delivered products.Install and configure proprietary Astronics software.Configure local users, directory permissions, group policy settings, and system security options.Apply government or customer-required security baselines (e.g., STIGs) where required.Document system configuration procedures to ensure repeatability and compliance.Support future Linux-based deployments as products evolve.

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
