Job Summary
As a Senior Backend/DevOps Engineer (E4) in the Fulfillment Integration team, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and operating mission-critical services that enable entitlement processing, product activations, customer provisioning, and system integrations across the Sky DE ecosystem. You will be expected to lead by example — owning core components, influencing architecture decisions, and ensuring production-grade quality at scale. This is a hybrid role across development and operations, ideal for someone who thrives in deep backend systems, distributed environments, and cross-functional collaboration.Job Description
Core Responsibilities
8+ yearsof experience in enterprise backend systems
Expert inJavaand theSpring Frameworkecosystem
Proficient in designingKafka-based architecturesand stream processing
Strong experience inPostgreSQL, with advanced query tuning and indexingexpertise
Practical knowledge ofCouchbaseor other NoSQL paradigms
Deep understanding ofDevOps principles, cloud-native tooling, and deployment strategies
Experience operating systems inKubernetes-based environments
Ability to own services end-to-end — from development to operations
Fluent in English; German is a plus
