Job Summary: A Mainframe Developer is responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting applications that run on mainframe systems. The role focuses on ensuring high performance, reliability, and security of critical business systems in Retail domain. 

Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and maintain mainframe applications  Write and modify programs using COBOL, Natural and CICS   Work with databases such as DB2 and file systems like Adabas  Develop and manage batch jobs using JCL  Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions  Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues  Ensure applications meet performance, security, and compliance standards  Collaborate with analysts, testers, and other developers  Create and maintain technical documentation  Required Skills:  Strong experience with IBM Mainframe (z/OS)  Proficiency in COBOL (required), Natural (preferred)  Experience with JCL, DB2, CICS, and VSAM  Knowledge of batch and online processing systems  Familiarity with version control and change management tools  Understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
