Our client, a government agency, is seeking a Desktop Support technician to join their team. As a Desktop Support specialist, you will be part of the IT Support Department supporting the Milwaukee County community. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title: Desktop Support** **Location: Milwaukee, WI - Onsite** **Pay Range: $18 - $19 / hr. on W2** **What's the Job?** + Provide daily support for PC hardware and software, including Windows 11, Office 365, and other departmental applications. + Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining computer operating systems and images. + Troubleshoot peripherals and related devices for users. + Support troubleshooting of smartphones and other ad hoc devices. + Identify, prioritize, and resolve technical issues following ITIL best practices, ensuring effective ticket and work queue management. **What's Needed?** + 1-3 years of customer service experience. + Two-year degree in an IT-related field or current progress towards a degree with relevant experience. + Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory. + Experience with Microsoft SCCM imaging software. + Willingness to work onsite in Milwaukee, WI, with no relocation options available.
