Our client is seeking a Desktop Support professional to join their team. As a Desktop Support specialist, you will be part of the Instructional Technology Services team supporting internal Help Desk operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent customer service, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title: Desktop Support** **Location: Madison, WI** **What's the Job?** + Provide technical support to staff as part of the internal Help Desk team, resolving complex computer issues efficiently. + Manage user accounts, including account creation, modification, and deactivation, ensuring security protocols are followed. + Perform device imaging, deployment, and configuration to ensure all hardware and software are up-to-date and compliant with agency standards. + Assist in deploying and integrating applications and agency configuration management tools for daily operational use. + Support and maintain end-user technologies, including system management tools and software services, while adhering to security and procedural policies. **What's Needed?** + Minimum of 10+ years of experience in technical support, customer service, and problem resolution. + Strong familiarity with concepts, practices, and procedures related to account management, device imaging, and application deployment. + Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex technical issues independently. + Experience working within a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and communication. + Willingness to work onsite at least 60% of the time, with full onsite presence during training; remote work is not available.
