**Position Title:** **Designer** **Location:** **New Albany, OH** **(Location MUST be on Resume)** **Rate Range:** **12mo contract to hire** **Target Pay:** **$24hr** **Candidates:** **Not C2C Eligible. Must be US Citizens, Perm Residents or GC Holders.** As a Designer, you will support engineering projects by updating and standardizing 3D Inventor models for power equipment components. This role requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams to ensure high-quality project deliverables. **Responsibilities:** + Update 3D Inventor part orientations for approximately 500 power equipment components. + Identify and update similar parts within the same category to maintain consistency and best practices. + Verify work accuracy by testing updated parts within Inventor assemblies. + Gather necessary project information through verbal communication, sketches, and technical manuals. + Work closely with other departments to meet project standards and expectations. **Qualifications:** + Associate degree in Applied Science (Drafting and Computer-Aided Design) or equivalent relevant experience. + High school diploma with 4+ years of electric utility and/or industrial drafting/CAD experience. + Proficient in Autodesk Inventor and Vault. + Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). + Demonstrated initiative to seek technical knowledge and improve skills related to drafting and design work.
