Responsibilities

Use AutoCAD equipment and software to develop designs.Create and revise production drawings.Make final sketches of proposed drawings, checking dimensions, materials, and relationships between parts.Utilize knowledge of machines, engineering practices, mathematics, building materials, and physical sciences to complete drawings.Draft detailed multi-view drawings of products.Draw finished designs from sketches.Update Drafting and Engineering Standards.Set up and maintain an organized file system for production drawings.Convert existing production drawings to AutoCAD.Communicate with tooling, QA, engineering, and manufacturing regarding new and revised prints.Gain working knowledge of the product by learning the manufacturing process.

Essential Skills

Associate's Degree in a related field.Experience with AutoCAD.Drafting/Design experience.3D experience Sheet metal experience.Experience with Inventor software.Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wood Dale, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
