Job Title: Solidworks Designer Job Description We are seeking a talented Solidworks Designer with experience in piping and machine design. This role requires strong proficiency in Solidworks and Autocad 2D for schematics. While a bachelor's degree is not required, experience and skills are highly valued. Responsibilities + Utilize Solidworks for designing and visualizing assemblies. + Draft schematics using Autocad 2D. + Contribute to machine design and pneumatics projects. + Collaborate closely with the assembly team to ensure designs are feasible and practical. + Participate in engineering tasks as needed, especially if you bring relevant experience. Essential Skills + Proficiency in Solidworks. + Experience in machine design and piping. + Ability to visualize and draft assemblies. + Experience with Autocad 2D for schematics. Additional Skills & Qualifications + 3-5 years of relevant experience. + AS degree in engineering or a related field preferred. + Knowledge in mechanical engineering and BOM (Bill of Materials). Work Environment This position is based in a small office setting with assembly operations located at the back of the plant. Initially, the role requires full-time in-office presence, with the possibility of remote work based on demonstrated independent work capabilities. Employees enjoy a dynamic environment in a company leading the compressor industry, with the opportunity to witness product assembly firsthand. Benefits include 3 weeks of PTO and 10 paid holidays. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Morgantown, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr.
