Job Description

Responsibilities

Utilize Catia software for surfacing, product assembly, and Digital Mock-Up (DMU) processes.Work with Smarteam/PLM systems to manage product lifecycle data.Draft detailed designs and specifications for engineering projects.Collaborate with applications engineers and sales teams to meet customer requirements.Develop project management and time management skills by working independently.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in Catia software, including surfacing, product assembly, and DMU's.Experience with Smarteam/PLM systems.Strong drafting skills.Bachelor's Degree preferred.3-5 years of relevant experience, though entry-level candidates with the right personality are welcome.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Understanding of aerospace industry is an advantage.Strong soft skills for interfacing with customers.

Work Environment

This role is primarily onsite within the ear protection division's manufacturing environment, characterized by extensive use of foam materials. You will collaborate closely with applications engineers and sales personnel. The position may involve up to 25% travel within the United States and Canada. After a few months, there might be an opportunity to work 1-2 days per week from home, depending on your performance and preference.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Indianapolis, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $50.48/hr.
