Design Engineer
We are recruiting on purpose a motivated and detail-oriented Structural Design Engineer to join our growing teams in Orlando or Sarasota. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in structural design across a wide range of project types, including commercial, manufacturing, data centers, adaptive reuse, and public sector facilities. This role offers exposure to both technical design and client interaction, with a strong focus on mentorship and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze existing structures and design structural systems for a variety of building types.

Prepare construction drawings and technical specifications in compliance with applicable codes and regulations.

Collaborate with senior engineers, designers, and drafting technicians throughout the design process.

Attend project coordination meetings with clients, architects, and contractors.

Assist in engaging with clients and developing new business relationships.

Perform engineering calculations according to design codes and project specifications.

Utilize structural design software such as TEKLA Structural Designer, RAM Structural System, ETABS, SAFE, SAP, RAM Elements, and RISA.

Create and review drawings, submittals, and structural documents.

Coordinate with multiple disciplines to ensure project deliverables meet quality and client expectations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.

0–2 years of relevant experience in structural engineering.

EIT certification preferred or in progress.

Proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD is required.
