Job Description Summary

The Technical Property Manager will provide general technical advice, ensuring regulatory compliance in client assets, the proper execution of construction work, the operation and contractual rigor of general services within the properties, along with tenant support.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

 

Clients & Business Development: General Client Care

 

Support the implementation of the client's technical management strategy.Collaborate with the asset management team to ensure technical management is integrated into business development initiatives.Provide support, advice, and assistance in client management initiatives and objectives.Participate in client meetings to offer technical insights that may impact decision-making.

 

Operations & Risk Management: Quality Building Work

 

Plan, manage, and oversee technical maintenance or general services (if apply) for the asset.Apply relevant knowledge of regulations that govern and influence technical design, construction work, management, operation, and use of buildings.Manage and ensure compliance with obligations related to technical maintenance or general services (if apply) for the managed buildings.Manage and coordinate the execution of required works within the asset by qualified third parties.Request and assess quotations from qualified external third parties, prepare comparisons and recommendations, and initiate and supervise planned maintenance and construction work.Support and manage processes impacting the consistency of operations within the asset, ensuring adherence to general operational procedures, particularly H&S policies, company guidelines, quality standards, risk management, and the professional code of conduct.Take an active role in coordinating efforts to identify, assess, manage, monitor, and mitigate technical management risks for the client.Ensure compliance with critical and secondary documentation in this regard, as well as its proper custody.Manage the balance between day-to-day asset operations and ongoing construction work.Ensure and manage technical and legal compliance of the asset for the client.Oversee incident management.Attend to operators conducting activities within the asset.Manage service contracts.Oversee the supplier approval and procurement processes.Coordinate tenant work projects.

 

 

Documentation Management

 

Supervise the maintenance and proper organization of technical documentation generated within the managed assets.

 

Finance

 

Drive the joint preparation and implementation of expense budgets.Generate periodic management reports.Ensure compliance with overall objectives related to the asset’s operational expense budget.Oversee costs and timelines of extraordinary works derived from CAPEX management.

 

People & Teams

 

Support and promote corporate initiatives at Cushman & Wakefield.Stay familiar with the corporate structure of Cushman & Wakefield.Collaborate in business generation for other company divisions, such as sustainability, project management, design and construction, and consultancy.

 

Qualifications:

Typically requires a university degree (Bachelors or Masters level) or equivalent professional certification and 2 to 5 years of experience relevant to the local market and services or equivalent.
