**Job Title: Depo - Machine Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking dedicated individuals to fill two openings for a 1st shift Machine Operator role. This position requires manual labor, including consistent lifting of boxes or bags weighing between 35 lbs and 50 lbs. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 6 AM to 2:30 PM. Operators will manage the end of the production line, ensuring products meet specified weight requirements, and will handle various packaging tasks. **Responsibilities** + Work with bags on Lines 1 and 2, and with boxes on Lines 3 and 4. + Ensure the product weight is correct by adjusting the contents of boxes or bags. + Operate taping machines and assemble pallets with products. + Use an automatic sewing machine to close bags, handling it with care as it is sharp. + Complete metal detection sheets hourly and upon returning from breaks and lunch. + Verify scale accuracy and fill out scale sheets. + Assist Quality Control/Quality Assurance by collecting samples. + Contribute to the sanitation process. **Essential Skills** + Ability to consistently lift 35-50 lbs. + Capability to read and write for filling out production sheets. + Proficiency in working independently and as part of a team. + Comfortable operating machinery, including electric pallet jacks. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in production or general labor is beneficial. + Ability to perform data entry and collection accurately for auditing purposes. + Must be at least 5'5" to operate specific machines due to the height of the bags. **Why Work Here?** Employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, a 6% 401K match, and twice the yearly salary in free life insurance. The facility mostly has a pleasant aroma of chocolate and sweets. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Union City, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
