**Job Title: Department Lead**
**Job Description**
The Department Lead is responsible for overseeing and supervising the extrusion and packing departments. This role requires supervision experience in a manufacturing environment, and involves providing training to production associates, enforcing safety protocols, and coordinating daily production activities.
**Responsibilities**
+ Oversee and supervise the extrusion and packing departments.
+ Provide training to production associates.
+ Enforce safety protocols within the departments.
+ Coordinate daily production activities to ensure efficiency.
**Essential Skills**
+ 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ Lead experience in a manufacturing environment.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in production supervision, assembly, mechanical processes, production management, and process improvement.
+ Industrial supervision skills.

**Work Environment**
The work schedule includes one opening on days in extrusion from 7am to 7pm, two openings in extrusion on nights from 7pm to 7am, and one opening in packing on nights from 7pm to 7am. The schedule rotates with Sunday always off, and then another day off shifts each week, providing a balance between work and personal time.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Cassopolis, Michigan.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
