We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this Dental Lab Technician III (Skilled Implant Technician) opportunity at NDX Thayer in Mechanicsburg, PA.
The regular hours for this position are from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:
Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist Preliminary: Pour models from impressions received from doctors in the proper material Number all models and impressions with case number Place models on appropriate type of articulator using correct technique Articulate models by using bites sent by doctor or hand articulating to correct bite relationship Implant: Prepare for articulation Set bites Insert implant copings Soft tissue Cement screw retained cases Seat custom abutments in soft tissue model and make adjustments as necessary Order implant parts Prepare casework instruction sheets 3shape: Scan all abutment systems Model builder Design Abutments Design cementable or screw retained crown/bridge restorations Provide telephone and written support to dental offices: Ensure critical calls are handled immediately Ensure emergency calls receive a timely answer Call doctors back within 15 minutes Attend meetings and trainings: Attend meetings and training as required Participate in bimonthly production meetings Clean work area daily Communicate with Laboratory Manager and Production Manager on a daily basis Perform other related duties as required
Skills and Abilities Required:
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English Make certain case is completed correctly before finishing Excellent eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity Detail oriented
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
High school diploma or GED equivalent Five to ten years related experience/training in preliminary, CAD/CAM, crown & bridge, and implant related dental laboratory production CDT or equivalent preferred PTC certification in SPA and SAA as a minimum standard
