Our team is growing, and we are seeking to fill an opportunity at NDX Keller Dental Lab in Fenton, MO, for a Full-Time Dental Lab Technician (Denture Wax).

The regular hours for this position are from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist. Check set-ups for correct alignment and function before beginning waxing. Wax in anatomical features to achieve proper function and the best possible aesthetic appearance. Carefully clean on and around teeth to remove any excess wax to prevent excess acrylic on surfaces at packing. If the case is ready for finish, seal the wax-up to the model to prevent poor fit and poor appearance when acrylic stage is completed. Clean wax from models, articulators, and implant bars before shipping to make the most attractive case presentation possible for the doctor and patient. Rewax resets if adjustments are needed after try-in. Disinfect and bag completed cases in readiness for shipping. Put correct case number on bag to prevent mix-ups. Maintain a clean work area and clean instruments on a regular basis. All other duties as assigned. 

Skills and Abilities Required: 

Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English Excellent eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity Detail oriented

Minimum Education and Experience Required: 

Preferred: High school diploma or GED equivalent No experience required

Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used:

Small machinery Hand-pieces Chemicals

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 20 pounds. Required to sit, stand, walk, and/or reach. Exhibit fine motor skills and/or perform repetitive motions. Read and interpret prescriptions and other required documentation. Ability to effectively communicate technical information. Vision capabilities:  depth perception, attention to detail, and/or color.
