Our clinic provides patient-centered dental care to people with intellectual/developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injuries, and people with severe and persistent mental illness. This position will provide maximum oral hygiene to the patients of the Direct Care & Treatment Dental Clinic. Primary responsibilities: + Perform all services permitted by the state Board of Dentistry so that maximum oral hygiene may be maintained for the patients of State Operated Services Dental Clinics. + Design and implement a preventive dentistry program, in consultation with the dentist, so that optimal levels of all clients’ oral hygiene can be maintained. + Ensure that infection control policies and procedures will be followed to maintain a safe environment for staff and patients. + Assist with clinic duties so that patient services and clinic communications and operations run effectively and efficiently. **Minimum Qualifications** + Registration with the Minnesota Board of Dentistry as a Dental Hygienist. **Preferred Qualifications** + Our employees are dedicated to ensuring cultural responsiveness.
