Job Description
We are looking for a motivated, team-oriented individual to help provide the most efficient dental care for our community. You would be joining a wonderful, laid-back, existing team of Dental Hygienists, with an established and thorough periodontal protocol. This position offers flexible hours with great benefits and the opportunity to join a close-knit team.
ResponsibilitiesConduct patient screenings, including oral health assessments and dental history reviewsPerform dental cleanings, including removing plaque, tartar, and stains from teethApply preventive treatments such as fluoride and sealantsEducate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive careTake and develop dental X-raysAssist the dentist during procedures by preparing instruments and materialsDocument patient care and treatment plans in dental recordsAdminister local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as neededMonitor and maintain sterilization protocols for dental instruments and equipmentCollaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient and effective patient careEssential SkillsAssociates Degree in Dental HygieneValid Dental Hygienist license in MissouriCPR CertificationNitrous Oxide and Block Anesthesia CertificationAbility to numb own patientsExperience working with digital dental software (digital records, radiographs, intraoral camera)Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $73840.00 - $101530.00/yr.
