Dental Assistant I
Classification Minimum Requirements:High school diploma and one year of appropriate experience and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Appropriate college course work or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
Job Description:Chairside assisting in Faculty Practice Endodontics where duties will include aid in operatory turnover, cleanup, tray turn-in, and sterilization duties. Stay current with college and department protocols by participating in in-service training (i.e., cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), medical emergency management, etc.), when requested to do so.
Assist graduate students, continuing education fellows, and pre-doctoral students chairside in the care of patients. Maintain excellent student, faculty, and patient rapport. Assist with electronic charting and referrals associated with patient treatment.

Expected Salary:$17.00 - $19.00
