**Now Hiring - Demolition Laborers** **Job Overview:** We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Demolition Laborers to assist with interior and exterior site cleanup and material breakdown following demolition projects. This hands-on role requires experience using hand and power tools to dismantle structures, remove debris, and prepare job sites for the next phase of construction. **Location:** Des Moines, Iowa **Job Type:** Contract to Hire **Key Responsibilities:** + Demolition Tasks: Use hand and power tools to take down wall structures, ceiling tiles, and flooring. + Material Handling: Load and transport concrete debris using wheelbarrows to designated disposal areas. + Site Cleanup: Ensure job sites remain organized and free of debris through sweeping and vacuuming. + Job Site Logistics: Haul materials and assist team members as needed. + Safety & Compliance: Follow all worksite safety protocols and wear required PPE. **Essential Skills & Qualifications:** + **Valid Driver’s License Required** + 6+ months of experience in construction, labor, or demolition. + Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly, up to 100 lbs if needed. + Comfortable working upright in various environmental conditions for 8-12 hours per day. + Proficient in operating tools and equipment related to demolition and cleanup. **Additional Preferred Qualifications:** + Willingness to travel for projects as needed, with advance notice provided. + Ability to work varying hours, including overtime and Saturday shifts. **Why Work With Us?** + Quick progression opportunities with good attendance and performance. + Potential pay increases within a few months. + Consistent overtime availability. + Company-provided PPE and per diem covered for overnight travel. **Work Environment & Schedule:** + Work with a leading environmental remediation and demolition firm in the Midwest. + Projects primarily in Iowa, with occasional travel to Riverside, Cedar Rapids, and Tama. + Team meetings every morning at the shop, followed by carpooling to job sites. + Dynamic, fast-paced environment, requiring flexibility and adaptability. **Ready to Apply?
