Demand Planner
**A Snapshot of Your Day (position overview)** As a Demand Planner, you will play a critical role in driving an accurate, aligned demand plan that supports customer fulfillment, inventory optimization, and overall supply chain performance. You will own the end-to-end demand forecasting process, working closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to develop a consensus-based demand plan within the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) framework. In this role, you will analyze demand trends, manage forecasting models, and monitor forecast accuracy to continuously improve planning performance. You will also support order and inventory management activities, ensuring transparency across order fulfillment, proactively addressing supply risks, and collaborating with manufacturing and logistics teams to resolve constraints. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders, and the confidence to work independently on complex planning challenges. **How You’ll Make an Impact (responsibilities)** + Develop, maintain, and continuously improve demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and business inputs, while analyzing demand patterns and performing root cause analysis to improve forecast accuracy. + Monitor, analyze, and report key demand planning KPIs, including forecast accuracy (WAPE), bias, and service performance, driving corrective actions where required. + Maintain forecasting models, parameters, and master data within planning systems (e.g., SAP) to support accurate and reliable demand planning. + Lead demand review meetings and drive consensus forecasting as part of the monthly S&OP cycle, preparing and presenting demand plans, assumptions, risks, and opportunities to cross-functional stakeholders + Collaborate closely with Supply Planning to ensure alignment between demand, capacity, and material availability, proactively identifying and mitigating supply risks. + Support order and inventory management activities by monitoring order fulfillment, managing delivery commitments, analyzing inventory levels against targets, and coordinating with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Logistics to resolve supply disruptions and drive continuous improvement. **What You Bring (requirements)** + Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. + Several years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain planning within a fast-paced environment, or equivalent relevant experience. + Strong demand planning and forecasting skills with hands-on experience using SAP planning/MRP applications and advanced Excel; Power BI or similar analytics tools preferred. + Proven ability to analyze complex data sets, perform root cause analysis, apply statistical forecasting methods, and translate insights into actionable plans. + Experience working within an S&OP or IBP framework, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders, manage multiple priorities, and drive results in a complex organization. + Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
