Work You’ll Do

As an Actuarial Analyst, you will:

Work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, engaging with clients across industries, disciplines, and geographies. Collaborate with teams to build financial and mathematical models that drive organizational performance and help clients make informed business decisions. Analyze and interpret large data sets using statistical methods to quantify risk and advise clients on complex business challenges. Perform in specific actuarial areas, grow related skills, and deliver exceptional results to clients as you align with one of Deloitte’s five Communities of Practice: Health, Property & Casualty, Life, Rewards & Wellbeing, or Mergers & Acquisitions.

Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective client and team interactions Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment Problem-solving and critical thinking skills to drive innovation and operational improvements Collaborative mindset with the ability to communicate across Deloitte teams and client stakeholders Quick to learn and apply new concepts, frameworks, and emerging technologies Proactive in managing personal and professional growth and expanding consulting skills Solid understanding of Windows-based systems and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

The Team

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree completed by Spring/Summer 2026 in these or related areas of study Actuarial Science Mathematics Statistics Strong academic track record (3.0 cumulative GPA required, 3.2 cumulative GPA preferred). Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve Must live within a commutable distance to your assigned office (g. 100-mile radius) with the ability to commute daily, if required, upon start dateCandidates must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment Preferred Qualification Completion of at least one exam offered by the Society of Actuaries, Casualty Actuarial Society or comparable organization prior to July 1, 2026 

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate is $90,000.
