Delivery Operator
Summary
The Delivery Operator supports shipping and receiving operations by preparing materials for entry and exit from the facility. This role follows all safety, quality, and compliance requirements, including SQF standards and company workplace policies and procedures.
Essential Functions
• Prepare finished goods for outbound shipment
• Load outbound trailers and unload inbound raw materials
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and roll clamp trucks
• Stock and organize finished goods in designated warehouse locations
• Maintain a high level of organization, accuracy, and attention to detail
• Follow all safety and material handling procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs
Qualifications / Requirements
• Ability to operate material handling equipment in a warehouse environment
• Basic math skills
• Ability to work accurately and stay organized in a fast-paced setting
Essential Skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Windows-based software
• Pallet jack certification or ability to obtain certification
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
• Roll clamp truck certification or ability to obtain certification
Protective Equipment Required
• Safety glasses
• Safety shoes
• Earplugs
• Cut-resistant gloves
• High-visibility vest
• Hairnet and beard net when required
