The Delivery Manager is responsible for ensuring successful and high-quality delivery of software products to customers in an Agile SAFe environment! This role will use project management skills, release train engineer (RTE) skills and scrum master skills to manage large or cross-functional initiatives within the Specialty Solutions Group at Accruent. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams, including QA, Product, DevOps, Architecture, Engineering and Executive Stakeholders to deliver high quality releases and report metrics and status information. Operating at the intersection of technology and business, the Delivery Manager drives execution across multiple workstreams, removes delivery barriers, and ensures that customer, initiatives, or program increment (PI) commitments are met on time and within scope.

This is a hybrid work opportunity reporting directly to the Specialty Solutions Group VP/GM and will be located in Austin. 

How you’ll make a difference:

Delivery & Execution Manage cross-functional initiatives using project management standard processes. Ensure cross-team dependencies are well-understood and modeled in project plans and timelines. Oversee multiple ART’s (and the SAFe framework) associated with the initiatives to ensure on time delivery. Coordinate with Scrum master to schedule, plan and facilitate all agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, retrospectives, grooming sessions, PI planning, release planning and more. Coordinate with scrum master to assign and review work and activities of scrum teams. Serve as a Scrum Master for 2 to 4 teams across the initiative, if needed. Release planning & Quality Management Collaborate with Product and Engineering to plan, schedule, and communicate product releases. Validate that new features, updates, and platform changes meet quality, performance, and reliability standards before deployment Work with the technical writer to ensure release notes and any other relevant customer communications are executed on time Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement Maintain relevant metrics that guide the development team to more efficient processes. Identify bottlenecks, implement process improvements, and measure delivery performance using data‑driven insights Promote agile methodologies and best practices across teams. Stakeholder Management and Communication Summarize PI Epics into Program PI Objectives and publish them for transparency and visibility. Report status updates and standard company and SAFe metrics to senior leadership on the performance and efficiency of the ART and initiative. Create and maintain clear and effective information communication between the development team, the product owner, and other partners. Risk & Issue Management Identify, document, and publish risks and issues related to the initiative or program increment (PI) and define mitigation strategies and resolution paths where required. Resolve cross-team roadblocks 

What you bring to the table:

4 years experience as a Project Manager, Delivery Manager or related role in software development Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business or a related field Project Management Professional (PMP) certification highly desirable Proven ability to troubleshoot problems creatively Experience seeing working within SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) and supporting Agile Release Trains (ARTs) Excellent problem-solving skills Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline Strong time management and prioritization skills Strong interpersonal skills Experience coaching agile teams through various stages of maturity, with the goal of improving team performance and productivity. Experience encouraging team ownership and accountability, self-organization, and empowerment.

Bonus or Equity
This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.

Pay Range
The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 88,000.00 - 147,000.00
