The role will manage a team of Project Managers by removing barriers and troubleshooting problems. In Clinical Engineering our mission is to provide a team of empowered professionals providing continued improvement in patient care and equipment planning & support technologies. BJC Healthcares' Clinical Engineering (Clinical Asset Management) team provides operational support and maintenance management of diagnostic, treatment, and patient support technologies. Specific service areas include, Medical equipment planned maintenance services, Medical equipment demand and corrective maintenance services, Operational support for functions employing medical technology, Support of Risk Management and EH&S functions, Technology asset management support, acquisition and disposal, Technology maintenance contract management, Technology capital project planning and management. **Preferred Qualifications** **Role Purpose** The Manager, Delivery & Implementation is responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of the technology strategy, responsibilities, services and deliverables. Responsibilities will include managing technology talent and ensuring that the BJC Technology solutions are in alignment to the Business goals and strategy. This role will ensure that all initiatives being delivered are within the stipulated and agreed upon cost, quality, plan, and time. Other responsibilities will include the development and establishment of strategy and delivery best practices to ensure that benefits realization is controlled and achieved, through highly functioning teams to meet the ultimate goal. **Responsibilities** + Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: onboarding and hiring, training, workload management & performance evaluations, conducting professional development plans as needed. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership. + Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals. + Authorizes the structure of portfolios and aligns the portfolio with strategies, objectives and emerging opportunities. Leads the definition, implementation and review of the organization’s Portfolio management framework. Sets parameters for the prioritization of PMO resources and the changes to be implemented. Recommends and implements corrective action by engaging and influencing senior management. Leads the ongoing monitoring and review of portfolios for impact on current business activities and the strategic benefits to be realized. Implements Portfolio governance and collects, summarizes and reports on portfolio measures and benefit realization to the organization. + Manages, monitors and reports the systems development activities which support the organization’s objectives, plans and meet technical, financial and quality targets. Ensures projects are carried out in accordance with agreed architectures, standards, methods and tools and addresses security and privacy requirements. Facilitates availability and optimum utilization of resources. + Supports in identification and assessment of emerging technologies by documenting the impacts, threats and opportunities to the organization. Contributes to the creation of reports, technology road mapping and the sharing of knowledge and insights. + Leads the development of comprehensive stakeholder management strategies and plans. Builds long-term, strategic relationships with senior stakeholders (internal and external). Facilitates the engagement of stakeholders in support of the delivery of services and change projects. Acts as a single point of contact for senior stakeholders, facilitating relationships between them. Negotiates to ensure that stakeholders understand and agree on what will meet their needs, and that appropriate agreements are defined. Oversees monitoring of relationships including lessons learned and appropriate feedback.
