Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated delivery driver to join our team, responsible for loading and unloading food items, making deliveries throughout NYC, and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires maintaining inventory records and operating a scan gun efficiently.

ResponsibilitiesLoad and unload the van with food items.Make timely and accurate deliveries throughout NYC.Provide excellent customer service to clients.Keep track of inventory and ensure accurate records.Operate a scan gun for inventory management.Perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and kneeling as needed.Essential SkillsA minimum of 2 years of experience in delivery driving.Proficiency in driver management and handling delivery routes.Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.Punctuality and reliability.Comfortable with physical tasks such as loading and unloading trucks.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience in food delivery is a plus.Familiarity with the five boroughs of New York City is advantageous.No formal education requirement.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work as part of a close-knit team in a grocery and produce distribution setting, serving both food service businesses and direct consumers. The facility is located on 15th Street, Brooklyn, NY, with approximately 12 employees on site. Drivers are expected to work in comfortable clothing, including jeans and a solid color shirt, with hours from 7am to 3:30pm, or until routes are completed. The schedule is from Monday through Saturday, offering the option of a 4-day work week.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $37440.00/yr.
