Job Title: Delivery Driver

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated delivery driver responsible for loading trucks, making morning deliveries, returning for lunch, and then completing a second delivery run in the afternoon. The role involves handling two deliveries daily, primarily within the local area, including Miami and Vero Beach. Candidates must be comfortable loading and unloading their trucks, moving boxes not exceeding 50 lbs, and using pallet jacks to unload trucks with palletized items on liftgates.

ResponsibilitiesLoad and unload trucks at the warehouse and delivery sites using pallet jacks.Conduct two delivery runs daily, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.Ensure all deliveries are made promptly and safely across South Florida.Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all safety regulations.Provide excellent customer service during all interactions.Handle up to 20 stops in Palm Beach or fewer if driving to Miami.Essential SkillsAt least 1+ years of delivery driving experience.Experience driving a box truck is preferred.Proficiency in using a pallet jack and forklift.MVR required2+ years of experience with local deliveries.Strong customer service skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsWarehouse experience in loading and unloading trucks.Ability to handle general labor tasks such as shipping and receiving, picking, and route sales.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The position is based in an open-air warehouse in West Palm Beach, featuring a large yard with materials like pipes and wires. The shift starts at 5 am and concludes by 2 pm. Punctuality is crucial, and drivers will operate a box truck for their deliveries. The workplace emphasizes safety and operational efficiency.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
