Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to join our team in Glen Rose. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to our valued customers while maintaining a strong focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to customers in Glen Rose and surrounding areasLoad and unload packages, ensuring proper handling and organizationPlan and optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiencyUse smartphone apps and GPS technology for navigation and delivery trackingVerify delivery information and obtain necessary signaturesMaintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumptionConduct basic vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issuesProvide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or questions from recipientsAdhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulationsAssist with additional tasks as needed, such as prepping food, washing dishes, and cleaning.

QualificationsValid driver's license with a clean driving recordHave had a license for 2 years if 18 years old, or 1 year if 19 years+Less than two tickets/at fault accidents in the last 2 years, and less than three in the last 3 yearsPrevious experience in delivery or professional driving preferredExcellent time management and organizational skillsStrong navigation abilities and familiarity with GPS technologyBasic vehicle maintenance knowledgeProficiency in using smartphone apps for delivery tracking and communicationPhysical ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 poundsStrong customer service orientation with excellent communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyFlexible schedule, including potential weekend and evening shifts
