Description

The Deficiency Seller role is to execute on all identified deficiencies from the field technicians. Executing includes quoting the required repairs, working with the customer to understand the need to perform the work, and closing the sale. Secondarily, this position should enhance customer relationships by working to better understand the customers’ needs and identifying other potential opportunities for additional sales. This exciting role will be instrumental in delivering increased revenue as well as contributing to customer experience and retention. Duties & Responsibilities

Manage their personal pipeline of opportunities and ensure that there are no deficiencies older than 20 days. All service and deficiency agreements must be priced in accordance with the Company’s pricing and estimating procedures. Maintain the company suggested margin and ensure communication with your manager if you cannot achieve that margin. The Company reserves the right to designate certain accounts as “house” accounts based on the circumstances of the sale, relationship with the customer, and personnel involved in the sale. The Vice President of Sales will settle any outstanding or unresolved disputes. Develop & maintain strong relationships with the specified subcontractors Quote all inspection deficiencies within (48) hours of inspection Develop and maintain an active proposal pipeline that will support achieving the assigned sales quota Ensure that all customer and prospecting activity is entered and maintained in the CRM database  Submit all required sales reports, expenses, competitive activity and correspondence in an accurate and timely manner.  Develop a positive ongoing relationship with customers to ensure that Reliable is meeting requirements to ensure long-term customer loyalty. Meet key objectives of Annual Sales Plan. Perform other duties as required.

 

 

What We Are Looking For:

Minimum High school diploma or GED equivalent  College/University degree preferred Bachelors degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent experience preferred. One to three years of sales experience in a related business with a proven successful record of accomplishment, preferred.  Excellent oral and written communication skills.  Proficient with Microsoft Office software products.  Must have the ability to execute closing deals within the sales process. Must have the ability to handle a variety of situations encountered during sales process and disciplined to work with limited supervision. Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record, we will conduct background and drug test. Minimum of five (5) years of industry experience In depth understanding of Fire Alarm Life Safety Systems, Sprinkler Systems. Technical aptitude understands drawings and codes (i.e. NFPA 72) Exceptional customer service, attention to detail, time management and self-motivation Candidate must have a strong work ethic and oriented to achievement and positive results Strong negotiation skills and competitive spirit Excellent oral, written and presentation skills with the ability to present to senior level executives within the customer organizations
