**Job Title: Deburring Technician** **Job Description** The deburring technician is responsible for removing sharp edges, burrs, and other imperfections from metal aircraft components. This hands-on role requires a keen eye for detail and the use of various tools and equipment. **Responsibilities** + Remove sharp edges, burrs, and imperfections from metal aircraft components. + Use hand tools and small power tools, such as deburr guns and small grinders, to smooth part edges. + Work with larger parts like skins and spars using air-powered die grinders. + Follow customer specifications when finishing parts. + Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions to determine finishing requirements. + Perform quality inspections to ensure parts meet specified dimensions and finish. + Maintain accurate documentation and paperwork for completed jobs. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in deburring, sheet metal work, grinding, and polishing. + Attention to detail and precision to meet quality standards. + Experience with hand tools and power tools. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. + Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. + Mechanical aptitude and experience working in a manufacturing environment. + Experience in the aerospace industry is an advantage. + Familiarity with air-powered die grinders and other specialized tools. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic team in a growing industry where attention to detail and quality craftsmanship are valued.
