Debt & Structure Senior Financial Analyst Job ID 232739 Posted 18-Aug-2025 Service line Advisory Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Capital Markets Location(s) Dallas - Texas - United States of America **About the Role:** The CBRE Debt & Structured Finance Group, led by Tom Burns, arranges property-level financing for institutional investors and owners of institutional real estate. The Group covers all asset classes (data center, industrial, multifamily, hospitality, office, retail, healthcare, life sciences, self-storage, etc.), geographies (including international) and execution types (Agency, Bank Balance Sheet, CMBS, Debt Fund, Life Insurance Company, etc.). As a Financial Analyst in the Debt & Structured Finance Group(“DSF”), the candidate will contribute immediately on live transactions, deal pitches and client assignments. Everyday tasks will include financial modeling in Excel and Argus, marketing materials preparation, due diligence coordination and interfacing with clients, internal partners and the lending community. **What You’ll Do:** + Perform in-depth property underwriting and collateral assessment via financial modeling on all property types + Assist in the preparation of marketing and pitch materials with various internal and external parties + Conduct detailed market research and competitive analysis for both client transactions and internal resources + Assist in the marketing of financing opportunities with capital providers + Assist in the negotiation and execution of financing transactions + Coordinate due diligence and third-party reporting during all stages of a transaction + Prepare internal and external presentations, reporting and analysis + Maintain strong internal and external relationships **What You’ll Need:** To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. + Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university. + Prior related work experience strongly preferred. + Argus-certified, preferred but not required. + Texas State Salesperson License, preferred but not required. + The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in a relevant real estate field (capital markets advisory, commercial real estate lending, banking, private equity, principal acquisitions, etc.). Candidates with less than 1 year of experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis + A high level of integrity and professional judgment + A desire to work in a team environment, often under pressure + High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc.) + Willingness to learn Argus Enterprise (if not already proficient) + Financial modeling experience required.
