Job Description

As a DC Procurement Lead in our Distribution Centre in Gądki, you will ensure cost‑efficient, compliant, and sustainable procurement operations that support long‑term value creation. Your work will directly influence strategic decision‑making, supplier performance, and cross‑functional collaboration within the DC.

Your tasks will include:

→ Conducting market analysis and supporting DC managers with budgeting and cost optimization.
→ Developing and maintaining the DC procurement roadmap and identifying key procurement needs.
→ Leading end‑to‑end procurement processes: tendering, negotiations, supplier selection, and contract finalization.
→ Training DC teams on procurement processes, tools, and compliance requirements.
→ Acting as a centre of excellence by improving procurement guidelines, templates, and standards.
→ Collaborating with DC managers, legal teams, and regional commercial partners to align goals and manage risks.
→ Conducting business reviews with high‑risk and high‑spend suppliers to strengthen relationships and mitigate risks.
→ Improving procurement tools, processes, and workflows to enhance transparency and efficiency.
→ Monitoring procurement KPIs and providing decision‑making support through clear recommendations.
→ Maintaining supplier and contract databases to ensure data accuracy and support informed decision‑making.
→ Ensuring full compliance with procurement policies, governance models, approval thresholds, and legal requirements.
→ Integrating sustainability, health, and safety considerations into all procurement decisions.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You will be part of a collaborative team that partners closely with DC managers, regional commercial teams, legal stakeholders, and a wide range of suppliers. Your role requires active coordination across multiple functions to drive aligned, transparent, and value‑driven procurement activities.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with:

→ Strong experience in DC procurement and negotiations, with solid knowledge of relevant standards and local regulations.
→ The ability to collaborate effectively across regional and local teams and engage stakeholders at all levels.
→ A strong understanding of supplier requirements, compliance obligations, sustainability criteria, and performance standards.
→ Excellent financial and analytical skills with a focus on value creation and improved profitability.
→ Experience managing RFI/RFP processes, even under time pressure.
→ The ability to independently prepare and present clear recommendations and communications.
→ Strategic thinking, strong prioritization skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
→ A solid understanding of logistics and supply chain operations.
→ Clear, concise communication skills and a strong sense of urgency.

→ Knowledge of Polish and English language on communicative level

Nice to have:
→ Experience in procurement within a large international organization.
→ Previous experience in logistics, distribution, or supply chain environments.
