Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study or equivalent years of related work experience requiredWork Experiences:
5+ years of related work experience managing a team in an automated warehouse, distribution center, store or manufacturing plantSkills:
Strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration between across all divisionsProficient in Windows, MS Office, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)Demonstrated ability to facilitate change and directional shifts; with the ability to make decisions and act without having all of the information availableEffective communication skills: active listening, written and verbalAnalytical skills and strong attention to detailOrganizational skills that allow the coordination of multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to gather data, compile information and prepare reports to Senior LeadershipResponsibilities:
Develop and monitor processes that improve/increase productivity and efficiency while ensuring safe work practiceEnsure that work is performed according to standards, policies, procedures, processes, and safe practicesMonitor and administer disciplinary actions in a consistent, fair, and timely mannerMonitor work performance and attendance of team membersAct as a coach/mentor to motivate and guide distribution center’s team membersEnsure fair and equitable treatment of all team membersCreate and adhere to an open-door policy of communicationCommunicate with corporate, stores and distribution center departments to solve problems and answer questions effectively and efficiently.Maintain internal control documentation, effectively perform assigned internal controls, remediate internal control exceptions, and response to internal and external audit requestsResponsibilities may change; team member may be required to perform other duties as assignedPhysical Requirements & Attendance
Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job dutiesAbility to work weekends, holidays, evenings, as needed to support DC off shift operations.Operate effectively in a non-climate controlled environmentWork in mezzanines or material handling equipment up to 35 feet in heightConstantly stand, walk, reach, handle, use repetitive motions (hand/wrist/fingers) and feel; frequently required to stoop, crouch, use fingers, grasp, push, and pull; occasionally required to balance Constantly lift up to 20 pounds; frequently lift 21 to 40 pounds; and occasionally lift 41 to 60 poundsOccasionally climb stairs and work in mezzanines and modules up to 35 feet highAbility to work in extreme temperatures required Ability to hear and specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus Adhere to company work hours, policies, procedures and safety rules governing professional staff behaviorOther Requirements
This position will require successful completion of a firearms- specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training.
