WHAT YOU’LL DO
We are currently recruiting two Operations Managers—one responsible for Inbound, the other for Outbound operations. As a DC Operations Manager for either Inbound OR Outbound operations, as part of the core DC Management Team, you will play a key role in leading and optimising daily operations at our new Distribution Center (DC) in Cheb, Karlovy Vary Region, Czechia. You will ensure strong operational performance, full compliance, and continuous improvement, with a clear focus on people development, service excellence, efficiency, and cost control.
Our state-of-the-art facility, spanning nearly 250,000 sqm and set to open in the second half of 2026, will be the largest and most highly automated DC in our global network with a total workforce of up to 2000 employees. Your key responsibilities will be:
Lead and optimise Inbound OR Outbound operations, ensuring efficient flow of goods aligned with service, cost, and capacity targets.Build, lead, and develop high‑performing teams, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and coaching of DC Team Leaders (35 Team Leaders in Inbound / 70 Team Leader in Outbound).Drive performance management and cost control, monitoring KPIs, labour hours, productivity, and stock accuracy in line with global standards.Implement continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen operational efficiency, service levels, and process reliability.Collaborate with key stakeholders (e.g. Regional Sales & Operations, DC Management, Merchandising) to align operational priorities, volumes, and service expectations.Ensure compliance and risk management, adhering to H&M standards, local regulations, audits, and loss prevention requirements.Promote a safe, inclusive, and engaging work environment, supporting Health & Safety initiatives and H&M Group Human Rights principles.Support sustainability efforts, reducing waste and minimising environmental impact across DC operations.WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
