Position: DC Infra Eng I (multiple positions available)
Location: Seattle, WA
Multiple Positions Available:
1. Provide full life-cycle support to AWS Data Centers from design inception through site improvement and maintenance
2. Lead, review, and approve designs for existing data center upgrades, which improve availability/efficiency; Updating and modifying existing models, studies and construction documents as required.
3. Interface with internal data center design engineering team, server hardware team, environmental health and safety team to promote standards that maintain consistency and reliability in services delivered
4. Preparing and developing detailed Architectural Revit models.
5. Developing & publishing construction documentation for Architectural building system designs in a fast-paced environment to meet scheduled deliverables.
6. Assist with creating and maintaining BIM templates and enforce BIM standards.
7. Participate in design coordination meetings with other trades for clash detection and resolution.
8. Work on concurrent projects in multiple geographical locations.
9. Assist the project team with information exchange processes between internal and external customers.
10. Provide coordination support for information requests during construction phases.
11. Recording and reporting of key metrics to management.
(40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $ 119,038/year to $160,000/year)

Basic Qualifications
A Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Architecture, Engineering or a related field and three (3) years of experience in job offered or in mission critical, industrial, or commercial engineering or architecture design related occupation.
Experience must include:
1. 2 years of experience using Revit for producing Architectural/Structural BIM models and construction drawings.
2. 3 years of experience in understanding building codes and safety regulations.
3. 3 years of experience applying Lean principles to design modeling and drawing production.
4. 3 years of experience with developing Revit Family content.
5. 3 years of experience in the following software tools: AutoCAD, Navisworks, Bluebeam, Dynamo, RF Tools, CTC Tools and Procore.
6. 3 years of experience with the BIMForum LOD Specification, plus AIA and NBIMS standards and best practices for BIM collaboration.
7. 3 years of experience observing construction, familiar with construction technology, familiar with construction practices.
8. 3 years of experience driving a team to implement new BIM tools, procedures, best practices.
The pay range for this position in Seattle, WA is $ 119,038/year to $160,000/year); however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
