Day Shift Production Worker

Job Description

The production worker will assist the printing press operator in running automated machines that print on bags and pouches. This role requires physical strength with the ability to lift 40-50 pounds. The worker will collaborate closely with the press operator, aiding in the loading of materials into the machine, which includes rolls of material and ink, as well as performing loading and unloading tasks.

Responsibilities

Assist the printing press operator in the operation of automated machines.Load and unload materials, including rolls of material and ink.Maintain a clean work area during downtime.Learn to move materials around the plant.Collaborate effectively as a team player.

Essential Skills

Experience in production and general manufacturing.Ability to inspect and pack products.Proficiency in using a tape measure.Familiarity with operating forklifts and power tools.Mechanical aptitude and understanding of blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in assembly and packaging.Knowledge of inventory management and material handling.Ability to conduct visual inspections and labeling.

Work Environment

The worksite is located in Albuquerque, NM, with day shifts running from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday to Friday. The position entails a 7.5-hour shift with two 15-minute breaks. Employees are expected to work additional hours as needed. The work environment is supportive and encourages skill development and teamwork.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.25 - $15.25/hr.
