**Day Shift Porter** **Job Description** As a porter you will be responsible for visiting assigned properties each night throughout Albuquerque and the surrounding area. You will be tasked with maintaining cleanliness and order in various locations by performing exterior cleaning duties. **Responsibilities.** + Sweep walkways, sidewalks, parking lots, and other areas as assigned. + Empty trash receptacles. + Operate a leaf blower. + Maintain cleanliness by collecting and removing litter and debris from premises, including parking lots and landscaping. + Perform other exterior cleaning tasks as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. + Must have a valid driver's license. + Must have and maintain a clean driving record that is acceptable to insurance requirements. + Must understand and follow basic safety precautions, rules, and regulations. + Must have a track record of being dependable. + Must be capable of working independently. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + General labor experience. + Cleaning and janitorial duties. + Industrial cleaning. + Experience with power tools and hand tools. + Housekeeping and construction knowledge. **Work Environment** This position's schedule includes working outdoors from 7 AM to 4 AM on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday depending on property assignments. It is recommended to wear boots or rain boots and dress appropriately for weather conditions.
