Performs and support the design, development, and maintenance of data solutions across SQL Server and Microsoft Azure. Follows standards-based practices and procedures in analyzing situations and complex problems.  Investigates, troubleshoots, analyzes and resolves problems related to the enterprise databases as well as related application and system problems that have been escalated for senior level support.

 

Pay Range: $84,000 - $111,000

Education / Experience

 

High School Diploma or GED required.  Bachelor’s degree in information technology or relevant field preferred4+ years working with Azure, ETL, Data Engineering and relational databases4-5 years of experience in the Information Technology fieldExperience administering multi-server, multi-database installations

 

Skills

SQL skills, including writing queries, joins, and basic performance tuningSQL Server (SSMS, T‑SQL, database objects)Understanding of Azure cloud concepts (Azure Fundamentals certification is a plus)Familiarity with ETL/ELT concepts and data modeling basicsExperience with at least one programming or scripting language (SQL, Python, C#, PowerShell, etc.)Strong analytical thinking and willingness to learn new tools and technologiesGood communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 5 pounds throughout the workdayMust be able stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl 5% or less of the workdayMust be able to talk, see, hear, concentrate, think, learn and reason for all of the workdayMust be able to sit and walk or otherwise move around for prolonged periods throughout the workday.Must be able to use a keyboard and do manual tasks for prolonged periods throughout the workday.
