This position is contingent upon award. **Responsibilities:** + Serve as an active member of the software development team participating in daily stand-ups. + Establishes database management systems, standards, requirements, guidelines, and quality assurance for database deliverables, such as conceptual design and architecture, logical database, capacity planning and external data interface specification. + Architect, design and develop database solutions for a web based application suited to stakeholders requirements utilizing cloud native services and architecture. + Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of application. + Document software designs, which may include design diagrams, data flow diagrams, software module descriptions, etc. + Use Integrated Development Environment (IDE) tools to include Visual Studio, Azure Devops and GIT. + Implement security and data protection. + Implement long term solutions and building blocks within the agile framework for improved reusability. + Provide development support, as needed, for solutions deployed to production. + Apply and promote good software engineering practices such as test automation, modularization, and simplification. + Collaborate, coordinate with colleagues on various solutions and problems. + Comfortable with Windows Operating systems and environments. **Qualifications** **Required:** + BS Computer Science and minimum 5 years’ software development experience. (Four additional years of professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree). + Ability to pass background check and maintain status for contract that requires US citizenship. + System design and development with Microsoft .NET environment. + Solid experience with MS SQL server and Azure SQL databases. + Solid experience with SQL. + Experience with XML and jSON. + Experience with scripting languages such as bash, python, and PowerShell. + Experience with Azure Devops and pipelines; Agile development using Azure Devops. + Excellent troubleshooting and resolution skills. + Ability to work in team environments across a diverse set of projects with multiple stakeholders. + Proactive approach to problem solving and a delivery mindset. + Understanding of REST and SOAP API development. + Should participate in Design/Code and System review using agile development process. + Excellent written and oral communications skills and able to work in a team which consists developers with different skillsets.
