**Description** SAIC is currently seeking a motivated Oracle Database Developer to join our talented team supporting USTRANSCOM. This role will require strong skills in SQL (bulk collection, windowing functions, analytical SQL) and comfortability with design/development of relational databases. **Key Responsibilities:** + Develop, optimize, and maintain PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers. + Write and optimize complex SQL queries to ensure performance efficiency. + Perform query tuning and database performance optimization. + Develop and maintain scripts for automation and data processing. + Collaborate with application developers to integrate database solutions. + Troubleshoot and resolve database-related performance issues. + Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with best practices. + Work on database design, indexing strategies, and partitioning techniques. + Participate in code reviews, system testing, and deployment processes. **What You Can Expect:** + A culture of innovation, where your ideas and contributions are valued and make an impact. + A supportive environment that fosters professional growth and development. + Competitive salary and benefits package. **Qualifications** **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of database experience. + Active secret clearance. + Current Security + or willingness to obtain within 60 days. + Oracle Certified Foundations Associate/Oracle Database SQL Certified Associate Certification strongly desired. + Strong understanding of Structured Query Language (SQL) to query, manipulate, and update data within databases. + Ability to design and implement database structures (schemas) to efficiently store and access data. + Ability to identify and address data quality issues, ensuring data accuracy and consistency. + Ability to clearly communicate technical findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
