This is an on-site role. **Industry: IT Company** **Title:** **Oracle DBA** **Location: Philadelphia, PA** **Duration: 6** **months** **Shift: M-F 8am-5pm** **Description** **PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** 1. This position is specifically for Oracle Security DBA who will work as the Subject Matter Expert for all Oracle Database Security related features. 2. Engage with all efforts related to technical architecture requirements within Oracle solutions specifically around Oracle Database Security features like Transparent Data Encryption (TDE), Infrastructure Security (OS, Firewall, Storage etc.) and Data Vault, among others. 3. Interface with the Enterprise Architecture and InfoSec teams to follow certain company and industry specific standards. 4. Knowledge of various Oracle appliances such as Exadata preferred and OKV, ZFS/ZDLRA desired. 5. Ability to actively participate doing hands-on work in Proof-of-Concept Oracle Security projects to demonstrate certain capabilities for the proposed solution. 6. Create Architecture diagrams, HLD, LLD and document the overall solution. 7. Coordinate with other team members to ensure software consistency across the Oracle landscape. 8. Will participate in the IT Change Management process and validate/approval all Oracle database related changes. 9. Proactively keeps abreast of new developments and forecasts of future trends in the areas of database security technology. 10. Provide inputs and support new projects affecting the Oracle database security landscape. 11. Engage and interface directly with Oracle as required for product support/questions. 12. Define solutions by identifying requirements and writing functional specifications; consults with technical subject matter experts. 13. Participate in on-call rotation with other DBA team members and perform weekend maintenance as assigned. 14. Advises on options, risks, costs versus benefits and impact on other business processes and system priorities; contributes to cost versus benefit measures. 15. Perform other related duties as assigned. **EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:** 1. Requires a BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent. 2. Requires a minimum of 10 years directly related and progressively responsible experience in supporting Oracle Security products and implementation. 3. Requires in-depth knowledge and heavy Oracle Security Implementation experience around Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) on OKV/other appliance. 4. Must have experience with Oracle RAC and support on Oracle 12c/19c. 5. Requires experience with implementation, operating, and performance management of Enterprise systems on Oracle Databases in the Exadata environment. 6. Strong working knowledge of Linux shell scripting/Python/Perl for developing automation and monitoring. 7. Experience with other tools such as Oracle Enterprise Manager tools a plus. 8. Experience with Exadata a plus and ZDLRA/ZFS/OKV desired. 9. Ability to work efficiently without supervision required **.** **MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:** 1.
