Job Description
Join a dynamic team working on databar units, power panels, and small mechanical power distribution units in both mechanical and electrical capacities. Candidates will be involved in either the mechanical (busway and tap-off box assembly) or electrical department. Proficiency in using hand and power tools and a strong mechanical inclination are essential.
ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.Assemble data bar units using metal components; tasks include fastening, drilling, attaching, and building complete units.Perform control wiring throughout the individual units if in the electrical department.Undertake general labor duties as assigned, including stocking, inventory, and unwrapping raw materials.Use hand and power tools to perform assembly tasks.Read drawings to determine necessary parts or replacement parts for assembling finished products.Maintain a production pace to meet daily unit completion goals.Maintain good job tenure with clear reasons for leaving previous positions.Essential Skills1-3 years of assembly or similar experience using hand/power tools.1 year of wiring experience through hobby, school, or professional work.Ability to read tape measures, with bonus skills in blueprint or schematic reading.Additional Skills & Qualifications1-2 years of mechanical or electrical assembly experience.Good attitude, performance, and attendance.Proven track record of success without a history of frequent job changes.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a very clean and modern manufacturing facility, constructed in 2020, spanning 250,000 sq ft. The plant features high ceilings, excellent lighting, heating, and cooling units, and hosts new departments for fabrication, welding, machine operating, and painting. The standard work shift is from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with optional additional hours and occasional work on Saturdays.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
