Acting as the bridge between Commercial Excellence, analytics/IT teams, and Sales, this role translates business needs into clear analytic requirements, validates insights with the field, and ensures data-driven insights are consistently activated by Sales to drive profitable growth. This role is central to ensuring insight quality, accelerating adoption, and translating data into measurable commercial impact. + Translate business priorities into analytics use cases that drive profitable growth. + Enhance the usability, credibility, and adoption of Commercial Excellence analytics by Sales Engineers and MOSs. + Accelerate the transition from insight identification to field action. + Improve data completeness and accuracy for Commercial dashboards and analytic models. **Responsibilities:** Insight Translation & Analytics Enablement + Translate Commercial Excellence and business priorities into analytics and dashboard requirements. + Define and document analytics requirements, assumptions, and success criteria to ensure analytics development aligns with business objectives. + Partner with analytics teams on opportunity identification, KPI definitions, and validation logic. + Develop and lead a structured meeting cadence with working team comprised of IT, Analytics, and SMEs from the business. + Develop regular progress updates that synthesize key insights, roadblocks, and next steps for business leadership Field Validation & Activation + Validate analytics outputs with Sales Engineers and MOSs. + Identify data inaccuracies and gaps, and misaligned assumptions. + Drive continuous refinement of analytic models based on field feedback. + Collaborate with sales leadership to validate, prioritize, and progress leads. + Review analytic outputs to confirm accuracy, relevance, and usability. Data Quality & Governance + Establish and monitor data quality standards for Commercial Excellence dashboards and analytics. + Work with analytics and BI teams to address data gaps. Adoption & Enablement + Translate complex analytics into simple, field-ready narratives, and insights. + Support Commercial Excellence training teams to reinforce desired selling behaviors and analytic activation. **Requirements:** + Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field + 3–5 years in analytics, commercial operations, business analysis, or sales enablement roles within industrial environments + Understanding of SQL/Python for data validation + Proven ability to simplify complex analytics + Experience facilitating meetings, project management, tracking metrics, and removing obstacles. + Strong understanding of commercial processes and the customer journey. + Ability to synthesize commercial scenarios and associated data, translating them into actionable insights. + Excellent communication skills; comfortable engaging sales teams and cross-functional partners. + Proactive approach and commitment to innovation and continuous improvement. **Preferred** + Experience with BI Dashboards, CRM/CPQ systems (Salesforce preferred), Jira/Azure DevOps is a preferred + Experience supporting industrial sales teams preferred **Benefits Starting on Day 1:** + Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance (including FSA and HSA options) + Life Insurance + Supplemental Life, Child, Spousal, and AD&D Insurance + Short- and Long-Term Disability + Retirement Planning, 401(k) plan, & Financial Wellness Resources + Educational Assistance Program + Time off Policies (including sick leave, parental leave, and paid vacation) * Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on job classification and length of employment Flowserve is a world-leading manufacturer and aftermarket service provider of comprehensive flow control systems.
