Data Specialist LMS and L&D, GSF Learning and Development
The Learning and Development Team seeks a dedicated Data Specialist to join our dynamic, analytics-focused environment. In this role, you will serve as the primary data expert responsible for transforming LMS data into actionable insights to enhance training effectiveness.
As a Data Specialist, you will collaborate with diverse stakeholders to understand data requirements, perform comprehensive analysis of learning metrics, and create compelling reports that inform strategic decisions.


Key job responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive reporting solutions using Learning Management System (LMS) data
• Extract, transform, and analyze large datasets to identify learning trends, completion rates, and training effectiveness metrics
• Create automated dashboards and recurring reports that provide real-time visibility into learning program performance
• Develop ad-hoc analytical reports to support strategic initiatives and operational decision-making
• Partner with Learning and Development teams, training managers, and business leaders to understand analytical requirements
• Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical audiences
• Identify opportunities to enhance LMS reporting capabilities and data collection processes
• Thrive in ambiguous situations by quickly adapting to evolving priorities and finding solutions with limited guidance.
• Implement data quality controls and validation processes to ensure accuracy and reliability
• Perform root cause analysis on data discrepancies and resolve technical issues
• Document analytical processes and create user guides for reporting tools
