Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Data Scientist II to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading data analysis projects, developing advanced analytical models, and providing strategic insights to drive business performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, a deep understanding of statistical methods, and the ability to effectively communicate complex findings to collaborators.
ResponsibilitiesLead and manage data analysis projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define objectives and deliver actionable insights.Design and implement advanced analytical models and algorithms to extract meaningful insights from complex and large-scale datasets.Perform statistical analysis, data mining, and predictive modeling to identify patterns, trends, and correlations.Develop and maintain data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to communicate key findings and recommendations.Conduct ad-hoc data analysis and provide analytical support to address specific business questions or challenges.Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and standard practices in data analysis, machine learning, and data visualization.Mentor and provide guidance to junior data analysts, sharing best practices and promoting a culture of data-driven decision-making.Essential SkillsProficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, or SAS, with a solid understanding of statistical techniques and methodologies.Experience with data visualization tools, such as Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, or Tableau, to create interactive dashboards and reports.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical partners.Strong attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Proven track record of delivering high-quality analytical work and driving business impact through data-driven insights.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree required, preferably in a relevant field such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.Master's degree in one of these fields is a plus.2-5 years of experience in a data analysis role, preferably in a similar industry.Experience with Java programming is a plus.Work Environment
This role requires in-office presence 100% of the time.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Berkeley, Missouri.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $36.00 - $45.00/hr.
