Job Description
For assigned projects, works with the cross-functional team to enable fit-for-purpose analytics solutions.Works with team to ensure analytical work product is consistent across projects where appropriate and that user experience is optimized and follows the design principles and standards established by the teamLeverages proven statistical methodologies and those methodologies established as standard by the team; in addition to leveraging proven statistical methodologies and standards established by the team, experiments and recommends additional techniques to solve business problemsEnables data-driven insights to support of assigned projectsIf assigned, participates in functional innovation and process improvement initiatives;Ensures adherence to federal regulations and applicable local regulations, Good Clinical Practices (GCPs), ICH Guidelines, AbbVie Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and to functional quality standards.Identify business needs and support the creation of standard KPIs, reports, and statistical analyses
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree statistics, analytics, bioinformatics, data science or equivalent field. Master’s degree preferredMust have 2-3 years of Data science and analytics-related experienceComplete or Full / Career proficiency in R, Python or other statistical packages. Intermediate-level knowledge of statistical and data mining techniquesIntermediate proficiency with visualization tools like Spotfire, Tableau or equivalentExperience with Machine Learning and other advanced analytics techniques preferredDemonstrated effective communication skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate analytical and technical concepts in layman’s termsDemonstrated problem-solving and analytical skillsDemonstrated history of successful execution in a fast-paced environment and in managing multiple priorities effectively

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time ofthis posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location,and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. ​

This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs. ​
