Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and delivery of robust, client-focused data and statistical solutions Ensure high-quality, insightful, and action-driven analytical reporting aligned to agreed specifications and deadlines Translate complex quantitative data into clear business insights (not academic outputs) Provide expert advisory support to internal and external stakeholders, including clients and project teams Drive operational efficiency, project profitability, and on-time, on-budget delivery Champion continuous improvement through innovation, automation, and best-practice methodologies Ensure data integrity and compliance with POPIA, GDPR, and relevant legislation Lead, mentor, and develop the Data Science team while embedding a high-performance, values-driven culture Minimum Requirements
Master’s degree in Statistics, Research, Data Analytics, or a related field Minimum 10 years’ senior-level experience in statistical research 3–5 years’ experience in data management or solution development Technical & Professional Skills
Strong knowledge of statistical methodologies and research techniques Advanced statistical analysis and interpretation skills Proficiency in SPSS or equivalent statistical software Excellent report writing and business communication skills Solid project, budget, and people management capability Strong problem-solving, planning, and decision-making skills Resilient, deadline-driven, and comfortable operating under pressure
