As a Data Science and AI/ML Developer – Associate in our Transformation and Analytics, you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm.

Job Responsibilities:

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify business needs and develop NLP/ML solutions that address client requirements and drive transformation.

Scope, prioritize, and coordinate activities with product owners; partner with product teams to identify strategic solutions.

Apply large language models (LLMs), machine learning (ML) techniques, and statistical analysis to enhance decision-making and improve workflow efficiency across investment functions, client services, and operational processes.

Design and implement LLM projects using GPT models, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Utilize Data Bricks and AWS infrastructure to build, deploy, and scale machine learning models in production environments.

Collect and curate datasets for model training and evaluation, ensuring data quality and integrity through effective validation and testing processes.

Perform experiments using different model architectures and hyperparameters; determine appropriate objective functions and evaluation metrics; run statistical analysis of results.

Demonstrate proficiency in visualization and storytelling to create impactful business insights.

Monitor and improve model performance through feedback and active learning. Deliver written, visual, and oral presentations of modeling results to business and technical stakeholders.

Stay up-to-date with the latest research in LLM, ML, and data science, identifying and leveraging emerging techniques for ongoing enhancement.

Transform model outputs into formats understandable to end users through visualization, clear tables, and thoughtful presentations; assist technical and non-technical users in leveraging and interpreting the analysis.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

Self-starter, attention to details and results orientated, able to work under minimal guidance.Uses pertinent data and facts to identify and solve a range of problems within area of expertise.Proficiency in Python, R, and machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch is essential.Having mandatory experience in Statistics  along with  Exploratory and regression data analysisStrong proficiency in LLM,  concept of vectorization/ vector stores, database optimization, performance tuning, agentic AI LLM, RAG based  agents. Proficient in building evaluation metrics.Experience with LLM and other related frameworks like Langchain, LLamaIndex, AutoGen, ReAct , GPT and  Claude models, Experience in  model development using Machine Learning techniques [Data Analysis /Model Tuning].Bachelor’s Degree in, Data science, Computer Science, or Engineering.  Different field of study, with significant professional experience in AI oriented Analytics and BI development, is acceptable. Experience Required: 5+ years in Data related projects and 3+ years in Data Science/AIGood communication and analytical skills

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

Exposure for  complex ETL development is an added advantage.Knowledge on CI/CD pipelines. Preferred data querying  skills on  SQL (Snowflake, Databricks) and , Python (packages and libraries like Scikit , Kera’s, Pandas, PySpark/PySQL)Exposure to low-code BI tools like Alteryx and Tableau.
