Job Title: Microbiology Data Reviewer

Job Description

The Microbiology Data Reviewer is responsible for reviewing microbiological data generated from laboratory testing to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with cGMP, company policies, and regulatory requirements. This role supports quality assurance processes by identifying discrepancies, ensuring proper documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain high standards of data integrity.

Responsibilities

Routinely communicate with laboratory staff, Quality Assurance, and other departments regarding data review, corrections, issues, and solutions.Ensure documentation of microbiological experiments and testing is accurate and in accordance with company policies and procedures.Collaborate with Quality Assurance to develop and refine procedures that support quality activities and regulatory compliance.Review microbiology data from ongoing testing, spreadsheets, electronic notebooks, and relevant software systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a field of Science, Chemistry, or Biology.2+ years of experience in microbiology testing.1+ years of experience reviewing micro data in a cGMP-regulated environment.Familiarity with microbiological techniques such as sterility testing, environmental monitoring, bioburden, and endotoxin testing.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mundelein, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $33.00/hr.
